Tennis Clubs of Canada, is a national organization offering tennis services in 8+ locations across Canada.
Their current website is used by new and current customers to access information about the club, their services and as an entry point to a scheduling portal used for registering for these services. But with the current site being overloaded with information at all times and with confusing interaction behaviours many users call in to the facilities to have their questions answered instead. The goal of this project was to solve the website's issues with high drop off by redesigning the website.

After analyzing the current information architecture, I realized that the layout of information didn’t align with our client's intent nor did it properly layout the company’s story.

Our client hypothesis is that, if the sites navigation were to be more intuitive and the structure of information would be less confusing, this would lower drop off rates and users would be more inclined to buy into services since they would have a better experience accessing information.

After our client green-lit our information architecture structure, I began work on wireframes that outlined the client’s goal for simplicity, intuitive navigation and a design that properly conveys our client’s story and values.

To prepare the team for testing, we planned for me to moderate the testing, have another designer as a note taker and set up the environment to have Microsoft Teams record audio and video, as well as have Otter.ai record audio and transcribe so we can collect the participants behavior and thoughts for the next stage when I synthesize the data. I created a background scenario, and list of tasks for the participant to follow.
